SUVH: (Sydney Ute-Van Hire) has locations across the Sydney metro areas that are open every day. Locations are open 7 days, late and 24hours.

Are your vehicles allowed outside the Sydney Metro area?
SUVH vehicles can only be used in the Greater Sydney Metro Area. NO INTERSTATE TRAVEL PERMITTED!!
Can I collect a hire vehicle at one location and return it to another? One-way hire.
NO one-way hiring permitted. The rental vehicle must be returned to the original pick up location.
How do your rates compare to other companies?
SUVH (Sydney Ute – Van Hire) rates are really competitive.
We have been told, we are one of the cheapest out there…
Utes starting from $45.00 – Vans starting from $55.00
How old do I have to be to hire and/or drive a vehicle?
Drivers aged 21 – 24 years old can hire subject to an age surcharge of $15.00 per hire/day.
We are unable to hire to drivers under 21years old.
Learner Drivers (L Plate) and Red Provisional (P1) licence holders are not permitted to hire and/or drive any vehicles from Sydney Ute Hire. Green Provisional (P2) Licence holders can hire/drive, must be 21yrs +.
Can I hire with an international/overseas drivers licence?
If your drivers licence is written in English and you can provide us with a recent legal document (phone, electricity, lease agreement) with your current Sydney address and you have a valid credit card for deposit and payment, YES – you can hire.
Can anyone other then myself drive the vehicle?
Only drivers entered on the Rental Agreement may drive.
– All drivers must be entered on the Rental Agreement and must present their drivers licence upon commencement of hire.
– An additional fee of $10 per driver will apply.
– Age surcharge may also apply.
Any other person driving the vehicle not entered is a breach of the hire agreement, therefore no insurance cover.
Do you provide 24 hours Roadside Assistance if I break down?
All vehicles are covered by NRMA 24 hour roadside assistance.
Please note that a human error call out will incur a $55 service fee for;
– Out of Fuel
– Key Lock Out
– Tyre Change
– Lights Left On
or for any other event not caused by the vehicle or Sydney Ute & Van Hire.
What happens if i return the vehicle late?
Late returns incur a fee of $20.00 per hour or part thereof, for the first four hours, then daily rate applies.
Can I extend the hire duration?
Extending the hire duration is possible subject to availability.
Please call or come into the pickup location and pay for the extended period in advance.
The hirer/driver must comply with the terms and conditions on the hire agreement, otherwise the agreement will be deemed as breached and no further insurance cover will be provided.
Do I have to return with a full tank of fuel?
We ask all clients to return fuel to original starting level at commencement of hire, or re-fuel upon return.
Do we provide ropes, straps or trolleys with our rental vehicles?
The vehicles may have ropes or straps left inside which you can use.
Ropes are available to purchase for a small fee.
We do hire trolleys from $20.00/hire/day.
Does SUVH (Sydney Ute – Van Hire) provide drivers to help move?
No! – sorry we do not provide drivers.
